2010 Banks and Brokers Golf Championship

The Banks and Brokers Golf Championship, in Association with Tourism Ireland, is the number one golfing team event for the City and UK’s financial sector and is supported by ETX Capital and BGC Partners.

Round 1 took place on 2nd June at The Berkshire Golf Club. Congratulations to team ICAP and team BGC Excellence who have both now qualified for the 2010 Grand Final to be played at the Doonbeg Golf Resort in Ireland on 12th and 13th September!

The weather was fantastic in Round 1 at The Berkshire and the feedback received regarding the quality of the Berkshire’s Red Golf Course was brilliant. Everyone also seemed to enjoy the eGolfScore live scoring and having ex Ryder Cup and European Tour star Paul Way along to chat a little about his Ryder Cup playing days and help out with presenting the prizes.

Round 2 was played on the superb Duke’s Course at Woburn on Friday 9th July. It was a great days golf with some good team scores considering the very hot conditions. Congratulations go to teams City Golf and BGC Gilt Repo who have both now qualified to play the Grand Final at Doonbeg.

Don’t forget that all Banks and Brokers Golfers receive a trading account from ETX Capital worth £300. Simply visit www.etxcapital.co.uk to complete the online application form and quote "Banks and Brokers".
